What you get from the start
From the moment you complete sign-up, TotalAV Plus gives you access to the full suite: real-time antivirus scanning, Zero Day cloud-based threat detection, WebShield phishing protection, the Safe Browsing VPN, Total Password for credential storage, Total Adblock, and system tune-up utilities. There is no stripped-down starter version — the subscription covers everything.
You can install TotalAV on Windows, Mac, iOS or Android, and you can protect multiple devices under a single subscription. Installation is straightforward: download the relevant app for your device, sign in with your account credentials, and run your first scan.
How billing works
The £19 price applies to your first year of TotalAV Plus. That is billed as a single annual payment at the point of sign-up, not as a monthly charge. After 12 months, the subscription auto-renews at the standard rate of £99 per year unless you cancel beforehand.
TotalAV will send you a renewal reminder before the billing date. It is worth acting on that reminder if you have decided not to continue — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so if you cancel after the renewal has already processed, you remain subscribed for the remainder of that year but will not be charged again the following year.
The 30-day money-back guarantee
Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you decide within the first 30 days that TotalAV isn't what you need, you can contact TotalAV support at support@totalav.com to request a full refund. This applies to the annual TotalAV Plus plan.
How to cancel
Cancellation is handled by contacting TotalAV support directly at support@totalav.com. There is no self-serve cancellation button in the app itself — you reach out to the support team, they process the cancellation, and your subscription ends at the close of the current paid period. You keep access to TotalAV until that date.
